Traincamp 2020

TrainCamp is our annual professional tech training camp that holds every summer since 2012. It is a unique training period in our institute when we make training accessible and affordable to more persons. In doing this, we select the courses most offered by students and offer them at a reduced flat rate

With present global realities and need to ensure COVID-19 safety, this year's bootcamp is going to be a bit different. The bootcamp is going to hold both online and offline. The offline training will hold at the usual venue (our training hub) at 11 Nicholas Street off Brass Junction Umungasi, Aba. Abia State; while the online training will hold on our newly launched e-learning platform AshpotLearn

For offline trainees...
Physical training will only support forty studnets supposedly ten students for each of the four courses. This is to ensure appropriate social distancing. Students will be required to use facemasks, sanitizers and to wash their hands on entry and exit of the hub each day.

For online trainees...
There is no limitation to number of trainees for the online classes. Trainees will be organized in groups of 3 and assigned to a mentor/instructor. Livestream classes will hold twice weekly, followed by projects, code labs, tasks which will be coordinated through AshpotLearn and Github. It promises to be a unique and wonderful learning expereince, as this learning path will support more students to be a part of Traincamp no matter their physical location
