In the dynamic world of children's entertainment, technology plays an increasing pivotal role.

On the 27th May, 2024 a trans-formative Kids Tech Party was held at Ashpot Aba, Abia State. It was a day filled with joy, the event began at 10am which involved registering of  kids and confirmation.

At 11:00am the kids tech party commenced featuring:

• IOT Training Workshop And Programming 
• Coding Hackathon
• Chess Competition
• Dance Competition
• Award Winning
• Special Presentation For Kids By Barney
• Refreshment Pack For Each Kid And Gift Item

IOT TRAINING WORKSHOP AND PROGRAMMING 

In this immersive kid tech party, the kids learnt about IOT(Internet Of Things).They learnt about the basics of ARM platform and how to connect different sensors, transmit and receive data through hands-on projects.

The course IOT imparts a sounds,understanding of the basic electronics ,micro-controller architecture of its network,devices,programming ,data,security and the rapidly evolving field of cloud computing and its relation to IOT.

 CODING HACKATHON

In this  coding hackathon workshop,the kids had the opportunity to learn new coding languages and they also developed  a time management skill,programming technique.

In this years kids tech party,the children was made to understand the principles of programming and the logistics.

CHESS COMPETITION

In this chess competition,the children were made to understand that chess is a two player abstract strategy board game,each player controls sixteen pieces on a chess board,

Each piece moves in a distinct way.The object of the game is to checkmate the opponent's king and it occurs when a king is threatened with capture and has no escape.

In chess captures are always made by displacing the captured piece from the same squares that it occupies

At the end of the competition ,the winner of the chess competition got the scholar -chess player award. 

 DANCE COMPETITION

The dance competition organized for the kids showcased the extraordinary talent of kids from various schools.the event featured multiple dance styles but limited to gospel selected music

The event was attended by approximately 70 people,including students,teachers, parents, and dance enthusiasts.THE atmosphere was vibrant,with enthusiastic cheers and support for all performers.

The dance competitions were resounding success,highlighting the dedication and talents of each performance and demonstrated a high level of skill and creativity. Making it a memorable event for all attendees.during the assessment ,the overall were given an award and complementing them for their excellent performances

Congratulations to all participants  and winners for their hard work and spectacular performance.

SPECIAL PRESENTATION BY BARNEY

The kids were so happy to see barney ,they danced and took pictures with barney.The kids,parents,teachers  were given refreshment package and gift items while the parents and guardians filled the room with pride as they watched their young ones talk about what they learnt in the TECH PARTY.

They talked about the coding language they mastered,the moves they learnt in chess,how to connect different sensor transmit

Ashpot felt special because each child had the opportunity to explore their interest.this event was successful.the event concluded at 2pm,leaving the kids with knowledge.
